Hopefully you’re not like me and you’ve actually had a chance to play Mass Effect, BioWare‘s award winning RPG of 2007. The game boasts beautiful graphics, an excellent storyline, and a driving part of the game that it would seem no one enjoys. If the original game of over 30+ hours left you wanting just one more planet to explore or the desire to meet yet another new race that has an issue with humans, BioWare has exactly what you’re looking for!
“Bring Down The Sky”, the first downloadable content offered for Mass Effect in-game expansion offers you a project 9 more hours of entertainment and an additional 50 achievement points for only 400 MS Points ($5). This side story will revolve around the race known as the Batarians, who made a verbal but not physical appearance during the core game, and their attempt to destroy a human colony. So while the content offers you another world to explore, you’re going to have to protect it first from the hi-jacked mobile asteroid station that the Batarians plan to crash into the beautiful new planet you just added to your galaxy.
I have to wonder, after beating a game like Mass Effect, assuming you were actually motivated enough to start and finish it shortly after it came out, would you be interested in revisiting the game for another 9 hours? Usually I reserve that interest for a sequel, but in most cases I’m finishing the first as the second is released.
