Revenge, sweet rubbery revenge

What we thought would die down over time has apparently only grown stronger. The hatred brewing between Ninja’s and Pirate’s has progress far beyond anyone’s imagination. While this feud has lead to physical alterations throughout history (Lesser known fact: the true story of Romeo and Juliet detailed Romeo as a Pirate and Juliet as a Ninja) it has never escalated to this magnitude. In an attempt to avoid the deaths of innocent bystanders, both sides have agreed to an epic game of…….dodgeball. No, seriously, I’m not kidding.

Created by Blazing Lizard, a developer under the Gamecock Media Group, Pirates vs. Ninja’s Dodgeball is a new game slated to be released sometime in early 2008 for Xbox Live Arcade. The cartoony nature and miniature size of the characters make me feel like this is what happens when a pre-school get’s overzealous and tries to integrate their Pirate and Ninja classes to cut costs on teachers. But will the game actually be enjoyable? Dodgeball is a sport that if I wasn’t as lazy as I am, me and a few friends could head out and relive how awful it was to play in middle school. But then again, people have actually played paintball first person shooter.

So if you’re ready to admit which side you truly stand behind, get ready to put your dodgeball skills to good use!
