Today at the Game Developers Convention, developer Peter Molyneux announced some new details about Lionhead Studios highly anticipated sequal, Fable 2. Molyneux explained that players will be able to get a head start making money for Fable 2 before the game is even launched. Lionhead Studios has plans to release an XBLA game that provides you with a few different gambling opportunities to make you some gold. When the actual game launches, you’ll be able to import your money over to the game so you don’t start out poor.

Molyneux also announce true co-op play in the Fable sequel, where you and a friend can connect to either one of your worlds and explore it together. Your character keeps all the experience, items, and money that you have gained while adventuring in your friends world as well. This makes me wonder if your “friend” would be able to steal items that only drop once in your game. That would be awful.

But that wasn’t all. Molyneux delved deeper into why the money making mini-game would be released prior to the launch of Fable 2. Apparently Lionhead Studios decided that wolves shouldn’t drop swords when killed, nor should they drop gold. That means your going to have to earn your money the hard way: stealing it from your friends.

Every once in a great while, a game so mindless but yet so captivating comes along and sucks away all your free time. The most classic example of this would be Snood. Many have found themselves capable of repeating the epic poems in between the levels of Snood due to how addictive it is. N+ is one of those games.

The original N is a simple flash computer game that finds you running around a 2D world as a stick figure ninja. But your enemies are not pirates in this game, they’re robots. Prepare to fight your way past these metallic beasts as you hop from ledge to ledge in an attempt to gain the highest score.

N+ will be the downfall of productivity for many individuals. Arriving on XBLA this Wednesday, players old and new will get to experience cooperative, survival, and race modes on top of an enhanced single player mode. Everything looks a little sharper and the addition of simple Ragdoll physics will make each death more funny then frustrating.

All it takes is 800 Microsoft Points for reality to slip away, leaving you and N+ alone for some personal time.
